Christmas 2024: On Wednesday 25 December, the Notre-Dame du Haut de Ronchamp chapel will be open free of charge from 2.30pm to 5pm. You can enter through the gate, and will be welcomed by volunteers from the chapel's association, the AONDH. This will give you access to the chapel, which will be open with Christmas carols playing in the background, and to the pilgrims' shelter (the Porterie will be closed).
At 3pm in the monastery oratory, traditional Christmas carols will be sung, followed by Vespers with the Poor Clares. Whatever your faith, you are welcome (heated oratory).
4pm free tea party at the pilgrims' shelter (near the chapel), with a gift for children
a small cot made of olive wood, created by Christian and Muslim Palestinians from
Palestinians from Bethlehem. An offering of hope.

Reminder of the Christmas service times:
24 December: Christmas Eve Mass at 10.30pm (unheated chapel), presided over by the chaplain.
(Mulled wine at the Poor Clares monastery after mass)
25 December: Mass at 11am in the Clare Oratory (heated), presided over by the chaplain.
(Free admission to the chapel from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day)
26 December: Mass at 11am in the Poor Clares' Oratory (feast of Saint Stephen), presided over by the chaplain.
